Apologies to anyone getting spammed by my testing out of Word Press 2.2 themes: I can’t find a way to browse options without installing them. Next on the plate is getting the del.icio.us, last.fm, and twitter widgets up, for all your stalkery needs.

From the iChat logs:

Friend: so, I tried to look at your blog.
Friend: It is blocked from my work network as pornography
Misha: ?
Misha: !
Friend: yeah.
Misha: ROCK ON
Friend: ahahaha
Friend: I thought you might appreciate that
Friend: of course this is the company that blocked linked in because it was a dating site

Off for the world’s quickest business trip to Los Angeles.

A friend thinks my hotel is the one where Alias’s Mr. Sloane first encountered his evil doppelgänger last season; if so, I intend to spend all my free time riding up and down in the ominous external elevators.

After a three day outage which I’m sure no one noticed, we are once again live and broadcasting in cyberspace. Aren’t you astonished?

OMG!

Even more shocking, I finally redirected the home page of the domain to this blog, and took down the under construction notice that featured this excellent and tasty baby. How long had that notice been up? So long that that that baby is twice as old as she was in that picture! Although just as delicious…

Spam Karma 2 finally fully assimilated, and comments are reopened to everyone but Vicki, of course.

I’m still not entirely comfortable with the way WordPress handles registering users, so I haven’t flipped that switch yet, which I recognize is just asking for trouble. So I would be very interested in hearing from people about their experiences running WP blogs (Harry, you out there?) and dealing with spam.

Also, where would you look for the register/login link, if it were there? I can no longer design without user feedback.

Comments temporarily turned off while I play with spam-management toys. If you want to reach me, the e-mail address is exactly what you’d think it was.

Thanks for following Clive’s link here.

Unfortunately, we’re currently closed for repairs. Sorry!

Come back when we re-open, which will be, um, sometime soon, I promise.
